Exeter Branch
Work by members of the Branch will be exhibited at the annual Dartmoor Arts & Crafts Show, Princetown Primary School, Dartmoor. The doors are open daily 10.00am - 5.00pm. There is an admission charge for this large event that attracts around fifty local artists and crafts people.

9th & 10th August
Solent Branch
"A Stitcher's Natural Haven" - Titchfield
Haven is a local beauty spot and the inspiration for this exhibition. New work by members will be on show and there will be an opportunity to view the Titchfield Tapestries hanging in the Parish Rooms. The venue is The Parish Rooms, The Square, Titchfield, Hampshire, open 10.00am - 4.00pm. Admission is free.

Lutterworth Branch

Reworked, Recycled, Revealed - Stockton
Vervey, a group of seven textile artists, are holding their second exhibition, a collection of contemporary art which reworks ideas as well as a variety of unwanted objects to reveal hidden depth and meaning in imaginative new pieces. The first venue for this exhibition is Arc, Dovecot Street, Stockton on Tees.

The Fabric of Myth - Warwickshire

A new major event will be held at the Agricultural Centre, Bakewell, Derbyshire, featuring the greatest names in materials and equipment in the textile industry. Among the exhibitors will be DMC with demonstrations, Groves Baker with Dimensions, Moira Blackburn, Trinity Xtras, Beardie Designs with Gloriana Silk Threads, Northern Lights Chinese Silks, Drawn Threads Charts and Kits, Coats Crafts/Anchor and many more. Dartmoor Arts & Crafts Show - Princetown
The annual event that fills all corners of Princetown Primary School and includes many textile artists covering embroidery, patchwork & quilting, lace, weaving and more, plus other hand crafts. Festival of Quilts - NEC
The NEC, Birmingham, is once again the venue for this gigantic festival of all the best in world quilting.

“Sensational Shibori Workshop” - Broadlands Arts Centre
Broadlands Arts Centre, in the Norfolk Broads National Park, provides a range of 1, 2, 3 and 5 day courses on many arts based subjects. "Sensational Shibori with Procion Dyeing" will be tutored by Janice Gunner and will lead to the creation of hand dyed fabrics using stitched, tied, pleated and wrapping techniques, followed by making a quilt or wall hanging with Shibori techniques.

Stitch & Creative Crafts - Esher
This annual major event in the textile and craft diary, organised by Trident Exhibitions Limited, will once again be held at Sandown Park Exhibition Centre, Esher, Surrey. The show will include sales stands featuring the latest in materials and technology for the broad canvas of textile pursuits: goldwork, stumpwork, lace, quilting and more for the enthusiast and the professional. In addition, visitors can attend demonstrations by Audrey Sibert and Wendie Rhodes from Create & Craft Television who will present a wide variety of crafts in 12 half hour demos throughout the show.
